Using LAMO Creator

LAMO Creator is a video recording and editing app provided by LAMO Ventures, LLC. By using it, you agree to these terms. If you are not old enough to agree to them yourself, use the app with the permission of a parent or guardian who agrees on your behalf.

For copies obtained through the App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which Apple publishes, also applies. These terms describe the app's use and do not replace rights you have under applicable law or Apple's agreement.

Your videos belong to you

You retain the rights you have in your recordings and other content. We do not claim ownership of your projects or receive a license to publish them. The app's code, design, and LAMO branding belong to LAMO Ventures, LLC.

Record and share responsibly

Only record and share material you have the right to use. Respect other people's privacy and obtain any permission needed to record them or their work. Do not use the app for unlawful activity, harassment, or content that violates someone else's rights. Set up your device securely and use it safely while recording.

Local storage

Projects are stored inside the app on your device. They are not synced to iCloud, their folders are excluded from device backups, and the editable project is never placed in Photos. Save finished videos you want to preserve to Photos. A finished video is not a backup of its editable project.

Deleted projects can be restored from Recently Deleted for 30 days. Choosing Delete for good or Empty Recently Deleted, or the removal of an expired project when the app next opens, is permanent. Deleting the app, erasing the device, device loss, or storage failure can also result in lost work. We cannot recover permanently removed projects because we do not hold copies.

Photos and other Apple services

Save to Photos hands a finished copy of your video to Apple's Photos app on your device. What happens to that copy afterwards, including iCloud syncing and any sharing you do from Photos, is governed by Apple's services and your own settings, not by LAMO Ventures. Saving requires that you allow Creator to add to your Photos library and that the device has enough free space.

We do not operate a publishing platform, host or moderate videos, or control what anyone does with a video once it has left the app. Parents and guardians are responsible for helping children use Photos, sharing, and device settings appropriately.

Availability and purchases

The current app has no subscriptions or in-app purchases. Any App Store download price will be shown before you obtain the app. Features can depend on your device, operating system, permissions, available storage, and compatible accessories. We may update or discontinue the app; we do not promise that every feature will always be available.

Disclaimers and responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation, error-free rendering or saving, or preservation of your work. To the extent permitted by law, LAMO Ventures is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
